(Las Vegas, NV) The St. Louis Blues bounce back after a rough game Saturday with a shootout win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday 5-4.
Brayden Schenn, Jake Neighbours, Nathan Walker and Cam Fowler scored goals for the Blues, Jordan Kyrou added two assists, and Schenn score the shootout winner. Jordan Binnington made 28 saves in the win.
The Blues held the lead late but Pavel Dorofeyev scored the game tying goal with 30 seconds left in regulation. Dorofeyev and Jack Eichel each had a goal and assists in the game, Shea Theodore contributed four assists.
Eichel missed an open net in overtime after a late pass fooled Binnington. Eichel pushed the puck wide.
Binnington stopped two of three shots faced in the shootout.
St. Louis (23-21-4) sit a point back of the Calgary Flames for the final wild card spot and play Vegas at home Thursday on B104.3 at 6:30pm.
