Ste. Genevieve, Mo. (KFMO) - The Valle Catholic Warriors continued their dominance over area teams Friday, defeating the Central Rebels 50-0.
Central (5-2) forced a turnover on downs on the Warriors' (6-1) first drive, but that proved to be the only time they really proved capable of stopping what has been one of the most efficient offenses in the area. After getting the ball back, quarterback Wyatt Fallert hit wide receiver Tyler Gegg in stride for a 33-yard touchdown, one of three scores the two would combine for in the game. Valle Catholic scored three more touchdowns in the half, capping things off with a safety to take a 30-0 lead into the locker rooms.
Second stringers played most of the second half, but even then, Valle Catholic seemed to have the edge. Running back Kalan Fallert played only two quarters, but finished as the Warriors' lead rusher with 47 yards. They'd add three more touchdowns to give the final score of 50-0.
Both teams face off against undefeated squads next week. Valle Catholic is on the road at Bowling Green, while Central is on the road at district foe Dexter.
