Motorcycle and SUV Accident

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO) A Ste. Genevieve man, 54 year old John L. Shearin Jr., is suffering serious injuries after a Sunday wreck in Ste. Genevieve County involving his motorcycle and an SUV that took place at 7 pm. Highway Patrol reports indicate Shearin was riding his motorcycle south on Route O as an SUV driven by 75 old James J. Orr, of St. Louis was headed north. The reports states Shearin attempted to pass a vehicle and crashed into Orr's SUV. Shearin, who was wearing a helmet when the wreck occurred, was flown to St. Louis University Hospital. Orr was not injured.
