Kansas City, Mo. (KFMO) - Kansas City played another nail-biter Sunday, but Harrison Butker hit a 51-yard FG as time expired to give the Chiefs a 26-25 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Chiefs (2-0) trailed at the half 16-10, but traded touchdowns with Cincinnati (0-2) in the second half. Trailing 25-23 with 2:35 to go in the fourth, Kansas City embarked on a 11-play drive from their own 25-yard line. A costly defensive pass interference call against the Bengals pushed Kansas City into Cincinnati territory, where they were able to set up for a 51-yard game winner for Harrison Butker as time expired.
The Chiefs are 2-0 to start the season. They'll play in front of the entire nation next Sunday, they play the nightcap against the Atlanta Falcons.
