Wreck Injures Farmington Boy

(Patton, MO) A 10 year old boy from Farmington, and three adults, are recovering from moderate injuries after they were involved in a two car accident in Bollinger County Monday afternoon at 5:30. Highway Patrol reports show a car driven north at the intersection of Highway 72 and 51, at Patton, by 25 year old Stephanie Rumsey of Marble Hill, didn't yield to a car driven west by 70 year old Roy R. Rogers, of Zalma. The two cars smashed into one another totaling both. Rogers and his passengers, the 10 year old, and 69 year old Cynthia L. Rogers, also from Zalma, all received moderate injuries and were taken to Southeast Hospital. Rumsey was taken to St. Francis Medical Center. Both Hospitals are in Cape Girardeau. Everyone involved in the wreck was wearing a seat belt.
