Woman Injured During SUV Theft

(Perry County, MO) A Perrywille woman, 37 year old Stephanie Moll, is suffering a broken leg after her SUV was stolen as she tried to assist what appeared to be traffic accident victims Wednesday on Interstate 55. Reports show Moll was driving north on 55 at 4:30 pm when she saw two men who looked to be in their 20's. They were standing next to a crash scene at mile marker 132, in Perry County, with a young girl who was estimated to be about 2 years old. Moll stopped to help and placed the child in her car to protect her from the weather. While she was attending to the child the two men allegedly got into the front seat of Moll's SUV and drove off as Moll was still half in the vehicle. Her leg was run over and broken. The SUV was eventually found in Mississippi County, Arkansas. The car the suspects had crashed was also stolen. The suspects are still on the loose.
