Washington County Wreck Injures Three

(Washington County, MO.) Three people are suffering in juries after being involved in a three vehicle accident Thursday morning in Washington County.. Reports from Troopers with the highway Patrol say a pick up driven by 37 year old Joshua G. Gibson, of Potosi, was pulling out of a driveway on  highway 8, just east of Ridgeway Road when a jeep driven east, by 17 year old Jordan L. Browne of  Potosi, struck the unit towed by Gibson. Browne's jeep then crossed the center line crashing into the front of a diesel truck driven west by 72 year old William T. Lewis of Ava. Jordan Browne received serious injuries while his passenger 26 year old Caleb M. Browne was moderately injured. Jordan Browne was taken to St. Louis Children's Hospital while Caleb Browne was transported to Washington County Memorial Hospital. William Lewis received minor injuries yet his passenger, 68 year old Rita J. Lewis was moderately injured. They were both taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital. Everyone involved in the wreck was wearing a seat belt when it happened.
