Washington County Traffic Accident

(Washington County, MO.) A woman from Cedar Hill, 19 year old Jaclyn E. Pelton, and a man from Hillsboro, 21 year old Jeremy C. Quinn, are suffering serous injuries  after they were both in a two vehicle wreck in Washington County Friday evening. According to reports from the Highway Patrol the wreck took place just after 6:30 as Pelton was driving west on Route A. The second vehicle was being driven south on Highway 185 by 59 year old Benjamin E. Hansel of Sullivan. Pelton was inattentive and ran a stop sign. The front, right side of Hansel's vehicle crashed into the rear, right side of Pelton's, causing her car to roll over and run off the right side of the road. Quinn, who was a passenger in Hansel's vehicle, and Pelton, were taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan. Neither Quinn nor Pelton were wearing their seat belts when the wreck occurred.
