Washington County Accident

(Washington County, MO) A Farmington woman, 68 year old Martha L. Hall, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was hurt in a two vehicle accident in Washington County Tuesday afternoon. Highway Patrol reports show the wreck took place about 2 o'clock on Highway 8 at Whippet Road. Troopers say Hall was following a pick up truck going east. When the truck slowed to make a left turn, Hall thought the driver, 36 year old Sheena D. Benson of Mineral Point, was making a right turn instead. When hall attempted to pass Benson, Hall's car crashed into the front of Benson's pick up. Hall was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital. She was wearing a seat belt when the wreck took place. Benson was not injured.
