Ironton, Mo. (KFMO) - Students at Arcadia Valley High School had the chance to explore a wide range of future opportunities during the school’s College and Career Fair on Thursday.
Nicole Thomas, the Postsecondary Counselor at Arcadia Valley High School, says more than 40 vendors participated in this year’s event, giving students a broad look at colleges, technical schools, military options, and local employers.
Thomas says events like this are especially important in a rural area like Arcadia Valley, where students may not be aware of the variety of job paths available to them.
The fair was part of the school’s ongoing efforts to connect students with real-world possibilities and help them make informed decisions about life after graduation.
