Two Teens Injured in Ste. Genevieve County Crash

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Two juveniles were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Ste. Genevieve County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. on northbound Route EE, just north of Frye Road. Authorities report that a 16-year-old male from Ste. Genevieve was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver regained control, but the vehicle again veered off the right side, overturned, and struck a fence. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Louis Children's Hospital. A 13-year-old male passenger from Farmington also suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington. The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

The Highway Patrol noted that neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
