Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Beyond the severe storm threat, a stalled front will bring rounds of heavy rain from late Wednesday through Saturday, raising concerns for flooding across southeast Missouri and southern Illinois.
Five or more inches of rain is expected in the Parkland, with even higher totals further south.
River flooding and flash flooding are becoming increasingly likely, with significant impacts in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
The heaviest rainfall will be concentrated in areas along and south of the St. Louis forecast region.
The KFMO B104 News team will continue to monitor this developing weather situation and provide updates as new information becomes available. Stay tuned for the latest forecasts and be prepared to take action if warnings are issued.
