Two Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on Missouri 21

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - A single-vehicle crash on Missouri 21, south of Route E in St. Francois County, left two people injured Saturday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2010 Ford Edge was traveling northbound when it veered off the right side of the roadway, went down an embankment, and struck a ditch. The crash occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m.

The vehicle's driver, a 74-year-old man from Cadet, Missouri, sustained minor injuries. A 52-year-old female passenger, also from Cadet, suffered moderate injuries. Both were wearing safety devices at the time of the accident and were transported by Washington County Ambulance to Washington County Memorial Hospital for treatment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.
