Two Arrested for Pizza Delivery Robbery in Jefferson County

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Two men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of an Imo's Pizza delivery driver on Sunday, December 1. Detectives with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office apprehended 19-year-old Charlie Brown, of Arnold, and 28-year-old Gregory D. Allen, of St. Louis, after tracking evidence leading to their residence.

According to law enforcement reports, the incident occurred when the delivery driver arrived at an address for a food delivery. He was met by two male suspects, one described as a white male and the other as a black male. The driver told investigators that the white male suspect tried to take the order without paying and made a threatening statement, saying, "I'll slide your life and take the rest of your [expletive]."

The driver also observed what appeared to be a long metal object resembling the barrel of a gun partially exposed from the clothing of the black male suspect. Fearing for his life, the victim released the food, and the suspects fled on foot.

Officers who responded to the scene canvassed the area and discovered fresh shoeprints in the snow leading to a nearby residence. A search warrant was obtained, and authorities entered the home, where they found two individuals matching the descriptions provided by the victim. Evidence recovered included the stolen food merchandise, which was hidden in ceiling panels above a bed.

Brown, identified as the white male suspect, and Allen, identified as the black male suspect, are both facing charges of first-degree robbery. Both individuals are being held in custody pending further investigation and court proceedings, as well as, a $500,000 cash only bond.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Detectives are continuing their investigation.
