Tuesday Election Issues and County Positions

(St. Francois County, MO) Patrons of the Wolf Creek Fire Protection District will be getting two new fire houses and a better equipped firefighters after Tuesday's elections. Voters approved the incorporation of the district which also means a 30 cent per one hundred dollars assessed valuation on personal property and real estate. The issue won with nearly 60% of the vote. The continuance of the county's 911 tax was also approved. It won with almost 85% of those voting in favor of the issue.
In St. Francois County Government posts John Jack Poston, Victoria Damba, and Jennifer Crouch were all elected to a four year term on the St. Francois County Health Center Board of Trustees. Laura Lynn Rasnick was elected to a three year unexpired term on the board.
For Board Director of St. FRancois County Sub District #2 David Pratte was given the vote.
