St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Rotary Shootout basketball tournament will be held Saturday, December 14.
A member of the St. Francois County Rotary, Jerry Weems, says it began 66 years ago as a Junior College Tournament.
According to Weems, the Shootout helps fund the club's scholarship program which gives $10,000 in scholarships annually. Weems says last year they were able to award 21 scholarships for graduating seniors in the 5 Parkland area schools they work with.
