Sunday Afternoon Park Hills Fires

(Park Hills, MO) No injuries are being reported after two residential fires that took place in Park Hills Sunday afternoon. It's reported the first fire took place at 200 Third street about 2:30. It appears the fire was electrical and began in the walls then made its way into the attic space. There was extensive damage to the house. The second fire was at 304 Congress at almost 3:30. The fire was on the outside of the home in a trash can. The home wasn't damaged inside however some exterior damage would need repairs. The home is still livable. Park HIlls firemen received assistance from Bismarck, Leadwood, Leadington, Farmington, Big River Bonne Terre, and Desloge firefighters.
