St. Francois County Satellite Building

(Bonne Terre, MO) St. Francois County officials are still talking about adapting the old Missouri Department of Transportation building at Bonne Terre into a satellite building for county government. Presiding St. Francois County Commissioner, Harold Gallaher, says this would give them more coverage and make certain government dealings easier for residents in the northern area of the county.

According to Gallaher part of the building would be designated for storage of county records. The effort could take a couple of years to complete and would use COVID related funding to pay for much of the work.
