St. Francois County Posts Proposed Budget Online

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The proposed budget for St. Francois County for the Fiscal Year 2025 is now available on the county's website.

Preliminary numbers from the budget show anticipated income from all sources in 2025 to be just over $54 million. Anticipated expenses come out to just under $47.5 million, leaving a surplus of $6.5 million. Presiding commissioner Harold Gallaher says most of these surplus funds are in restricted funds, such as the Opioid Settlement Funds or General Stabilization fund.

A formal hearing over the budget will be held at a special meeting of the St. Francois County commission, to be held either December 20th or 23rd. The budget is available for viewing at sfcgov.org.
