Reynolds County, Mo. (KFMO) - The tornado that impacted southern Reynolds County has now been confirmed as an EF3, according to the latest assessment from the National Weather Service.
Initially producing EF3 damage in Carter County, the storm weakened slightly to an EF1 as it entered Reynolds County. Damage assessments are still ongoing in southern Reynolds County, particularly in the Des Arc area, where officials continue to evaluate the storm’s impact. Further updates on the final rating for that portion of the tornado’s path are expected soon. Residents are urged to remain cautious while cleanup efforts continue.
