Smith Backs Johnson as Speaker

(Washington, DC) Missouri United States Eighth District Congressman, Jason Smith, is congratulating Louisiana U.S. Representative, Mike Johnson, on being elected Speaker of the House. Smith says Johnson is a proven, conservative and will do a great job.

According to Smith he's looking forward to working with Johnson on issues important to Americans like border policies and inflation. Smith nominated Johnson to lead the Republican Study Commission in 2018.
