Shelter Critical in Extreme Weather

(Farmington, MO) Icy precipitation, snow, and low temperatures can cause many problems especially for the homeless. The new shelter in Farmington can help and a Program Manager with the East Missouri Action Agency, Rob Baker, says having the shelter open in this weather is critical.

The shelter began as an effort with the Uplift Center at the site of the Senior Center building in Farmington. It can assist up to 60 people.
