(Farmington, MO.) A Farmington Resident, 48 year old Dan Sanders, is announcing his candidacy as a Republican for St. Francois County Coroner in the August Primary elections. Sanders says he feels he has the experience needed and he sees a need for new leadership in the position.
Sanders is a native of Kennett, Missouri and moved to St. Francois County in 1989. He graduated from the Farmington Schools in 1990 and attended Mineral Area College. He obtained a Funeral Director's License in 2000 after joining the staff at Cozean Memorial Chapel of Farmington. In 2011 he became the General Manager of Cozean Memorial Chapel through 2018. He is currently employed at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home. Sanders is also a member of several community groups including The St. Francois County Rotary Club, The Farmington Elks, American Legion, and Ducks Unlimited.
