Redistricting Map Compromise Approved

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri State Senators are agreeing on a compromise plan to redraw the state's political districts. Senators agreed to the plan Thursday which gives House members little time to finish work on new maps before the Tuesday candidate filing deadline. The agreement was approved with 17 Republicans supporting it and 5 Democrats. 5 Republicans and 5 Democrats voted against the plan.
