Pets Die In Bismarck Blaze

(Bismarck, MO.) No injuries are being reported yet several pets died in a residential structure fire that took place in Bismarck this morning. Bismarck Fire Chief, John Caldwell, says the call was first made to 911 about 5:40 for an involved structure at the intersection of Fairview and Cedar Streets.

According to Caldwell they don't know the exact cause of the fire yet it is not being considered suspicious. Caldwell says a lack of manpower and cold temperatures hampered firefighters in their effort. Members of the Bismarck Fire Department received assistance from the Leadwwod, Farmington, Desloge, Doe Run, Wolf Creek and Pilot Knob firemen.
