Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Highway 47

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - A woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning on Highway 47 in Bonne Terre.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:35 a.m., north of Buchanan Street. They say that a car, driven by 34-year-old Shawn P. Johnson, of Bonne Terre, was traveling north on Highway 47,  approached the Hilltop, past Buchanan Street, and struck 40-year-old Laura A. Reagan, with the front right of the car. 

The Reagan was pronounced dead by EMS personnel at the crash site.
