Park Hills Man Injured in Traffic Accident

(St. Francois County, MO.) A man from Park Hills, 37 year old Robert N. Stienkemeyer, is recovering from serious injuries after he was involved in a one car accident in St. Francois County early Monday morning. According to Highway Patrol reports Stienkemeyer was driving west on Loughboro Road, east of Russell Road at about 2:30, when he lost control of the car in a curve to the left. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and smashed into a tree. Stienkemeyer, who was not wearing a seat belt, was flown to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
