Park Hills Fire Final Update

(Park Hills, MO) After to an investigation by the State Fire Marshall authorities are saying the residential fire in Park Hills Monday afternoon was started by a fire in a burn pit near the house. Park Hills Fire Chief, Brad Weiss, says according to the investigation one of the two residents of the home was burning leaves and debris in the pit when and the wind blew burning debris toward the house.

Both residents of the home, Joseph and Marcella Chervenak, who lost all of their resources and possession in the fire, are wheelchair bound and also now homeless.
