Park Hills Fire Destroys Home

(Park HIlls, MO.) A Park Hills woman suffers minor injuries after a fire destroyed her home Monday morning. Records show Park Hills firemen were called to a residential structure fire in the 100 block of Buckley Street around 6:45. The blaze was brought under control quickly. The woman, who escaped the blaze, says she was smoking in bed. The fire reportedly began in her pillow and mattress. The Leadwood, Bonne Terre Big River, Farmington, Leadington, and Wolf Creek fire departments gave assistance.
