Pace In Custody

(Farmington, MO) The fugitive who has been the subject of an intense manhunt in several parkland counties, 25 year old Dakota Pace, is in custody after an early morning high speed chase in Farmington. Information from deputies with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department say just before 2 am Thursday morning the pursuit began after Pace was sighted. The chase ended when Pace's vehicle crashed into a telephone pole in the City of Farmington. Pace tried to run from police but was captured by deputies after a short foot chase. Pace is a suspect in several theft investigations in St. Francois County and is a wanted felon with warrants out from Madison County as well.
