One Car Wreck in Washington County

(Washington County, MO.) A Potosi man, 25 year old Nicholas H. Nixon, is recovering from serious injuries after he was hurt in a one car accident Saturday afternoon in Washington County. Highway Patrol reports show Nixon was driving south on Route C, about 12:30, when he lost control of his car. It went over the centerline and struck the front of another vehicle. Nixon was not wearing his seat belt when the wreck took place. He was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. No further information is available from the Highway Patrol Report.
