Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - A 10-week program hosted by the University of Missouri Extension office seeks to give individuals the opportunity and skills needed to engage in a community betterment project.
The Neighborhood Leadership Academy meets on Wednesday evenings online from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Misti Ritter, Engagement Specialist with the University of Missouri Extension Office, says particpants often hold a wide variety of interests.
The program costs $325 to partipcate. There is a scholarship opportunity available to help with the costs involved, available by visiting extension.missouri.edu and searching for the Neighborhood Leadershp Academy. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is August 1.
