Murder Suicide Near Fenton

(Fenton, MO) Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak is announcing the identities of the two people found deceased following a murder suicide Monday near Fenton. 47 year old Kirstin Gentemann was found inside her home in the 1200 block of Fenton Ridge Drive with multiple gunshot wounds. Her husband, 57 year old Steven Gentemann, was found with a single, self inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators believe Steven Gentemann shot and killed his wife, Kirstin, before shooting himself. Two juveniles were inside the home minutes before the shooting. They ran from the home before the shooting started and both were unhurt.
There was no apparent history of domestic violence between the victim and the suspect. Marshak reminds you resources are available for people in domestic violence situations. The Victim Services
