MSHP Weighs in on Winter Weather Driving

(Park Hills, MO) As winter weather makes its way through the Parkland, it's important that we are properly prepared before venturing out. Corporal Dallas Thompson, of the Missouri Highway Patrol, says it's critical you allow yourself some extra time.

Thompson also notes you should be extra cautious on bridges and overpasses. Stretches of concrete that are exposed to air underneath are particularly susceptible to freezing, as well as refreezing.
