Missouri Sets New Record for COVID-19 Cases

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri sets a new one-day record for COVID-19 cases. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services says the state added 4,256 new positive cases Tuesday. That's nearly 800 more cases than were added on Monday, and well above the state's 7-day rolling average of 3,454 cases-per-day. The state also reported 146 new deaths, but noted that the majority of them actually occurred over the past several weeks.
