McClure Appointed To City Council

(Bonne Terre, MO) Members of the Bonne Terre City Council are appointing Ryan McClure to fill the city council seat left vacant after councilman and Mayor Pro Tem, Erik Schonhardt, vacated the post to take over as Mayor of the city following the resignation of Mayor Brandon Hubbard. City Administrator, Shawn Kay, says council members met with several applicants and thought McClure's experience made him the best candidate.

According to Kay there was interest in the open seat as three peoiple submitted an application for the council position.
