Man Faces Car and Identity Theft Charges

(Desloge, MO) A man from Pevely, 46 year old Joseph David Jones, will make an appearance in St. Francois County circuit court Thursday, June 23rd on charges of stealing a motor vehicle and trafficking in stolen identities after he was arrested in March by Desloge Police. Reports show Jones is alleged to have stolen an automobile and was captured. While searching the car authorities allegedly discovered multiple forms of identification, stolen checks, and credit documents. Jones was booked into the St. Francois County Jail with an initial $100,000 bond.
