Man Charged with Possessing Child Pornography

(St. Francois County, MO) A man from Park Hills, 27 year old Gerardo Ramone Cardenas, is making his initial appearance in St. Francois County Court today on three felony counts of possession of child pornography after an investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Reports indicate Cardenas was interviewed by investigators last week after they received information he possessed the illegal videos. Cardenas allegedly admitted to having the files and viewing them. The videos allegedly involved children between the ages of 10 and 12 years old. Cardenas is in custody at the St. Francois County Jail a bond of $250,000.
