Major Snowfall Hits the Parkland, Crews Work to Clear Roads

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Parkland experienced a significant snowfall Tuesday evening and overnight, with snow accumulation ranging from 4.5 to 10.5 inches across the region.

The heavy snowfall created hazardous driving conditions, prompting road crews to work through the night and into Wednesday morning to clear highways and local streets. Officials urge drivers to use caution when traveling, as slick spots and reduced visibility remain concerns despite road treatment efforts. Plow crews continue working to improve conditions, and motorists are reminded to give them plenty of space and drive at reduced speeds.
