Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - KFMO-AM 1240, the leading local broadcaster of high school and collegiate sports, proudly announces the appointment of its Sports Director, Jared Pettus, to the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Media Advisory Committee.
This prestigious appointment underscores KFMO's commitment to excellence in local sports coverage and strengthens its ties with the state's governing body for high school athletics.
Jared Pettus, who has been instrumental in KFMO's award-winning sports broadcasts, expressed his enthusiasm for the new role.
As a member of the Media Advisory Committee, Pettus will serve a four-year term, acting as a liaison between media members in his board district and the MSHSAA communications office. The committee meets annually to discuss media relations and other media-related matters concerning the association.

KFMO-AM 1240, founded in 1947, is the longest-running radio station in St. Francois County. Known for its extensive sports programming, KFMO broadcasts over 250 games annually, covering local high school and local collegiate sports. The station is also an affiliate of the Kansas City Chiefs, further cementing its status as a sports broadcasting powerhouse in the region.
