Jefferson County Sheriff Looking for Suspects

(Jefferson County, MO.) Investigators with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are asking for your help in locating two suspects involved in an armed robbery Wednesday morning near Fenton. A video form the store's security camera shows one suspect, armed with what appears to be a shotgun, approaching the counter and demanding the clerk’s cell phone. He then demands the money in the cash register. Meanwhile, the second suspect used a hammer to break open machines containing cash. This takes place off camera, but the banging from the hammering can be heard on the recording.  The suspects fled the business, entered an unknown make and model vehicle, and headed north on Highway 30 toward St. Louis County. The clerk was not hurt. Detectives are working this case and would like any information you  may have on the two men or their vehicle. The Quik Stop location is in the 1000 block of Gravois Road and the incident took place around 6:15 Wednesday morning.
