Jefferson County Crash After Medical Emergency

(Jefferson County, MO) A man from Dittmer, identified as 36 year old Jacob D Johnson, is suffering from serious injuries following a Jefferson County Crash Monday morning. The State Patrol says it happened on Eastbound Highway 30 at Route BB at around 8:30. That's where Johnson was driving his SUV, when troopers say he suffered a medical episode, then went off the road and hit a light. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Johnson was not wearing his seatbelt when the accident happened.
