Iron County Scam Alert

(Iron County, MO) Iron County law enforcement officials are warning of a scam in the county. The Sheriff's Department is getting reports from citizens about someone allegedly calling residents on the phone and posing as a deputy. It's also said the person asks for a payment to avoid outstanding warrants. A reminder from the Sheriff's office points out they will never call a person and ask for money and never give out your personal information.
