Iron County Saturday Motorcycle Crash

(Iron County, MO) A woman from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, 61 year old Melanie Walbaum, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was hurt in a motorcycle crash in Iron County that took place at 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Highway Patrol reports show The motorcycle was driven north on Highway 21, six miles north of Belleview, by 67 year old James R. Stricklen of Potosi. He failed to make a curve and the motorcycle ran off the right side of the road and rolled over throwing Walbaum and Stricklen off. They were both wearing a safety device when the crash took place. Stricklen received minor injuries. They were both transported to Parkland Hospital in Farmington.
