Iron County Records First Case of Virus

(Ironton, Mo) - Iron County has recorded its first case of COVID-19.  The Iron County Health Department did not release the age, gender, location / zip code, or any other information about the individual as the other counties in the area have done, but did indicate the person is a healthcare professional who had an exposure outside the county.

 The Department did say they have contacted people that may have come into contact with the person while they were infectious and will be monitoring those people for fever and respiratory symptoms.
