Investigation into Pevely Human Remains

(Pevely, MO) An investigation is underway into the discovery of human remains found Sunday evening in Pevely. According to reports a woman who was mushroom hunting on Taylor Drive contacted police after she found the body. Officers were dispatched to 9000 block at 7:20pm. The body was transported to the regional medical examiners office and an autopsy has been performed. The investigations is being handled by Pevely Police and Jefferson County Sheriff's Department Deputies.
