House of Representatives Dress Code

(Jefferson City, MO) A tough dress code is in effect for the women in the Missouri House of Representatives. The new rules require female legislators, and staff members, to wear a jacket like a blazer. Republican Representative, Ann Kelley introduced the amendment saying it mirrors the men's dress code. Men are already required to wear a jacket, shirt, and a tie. Kelley says she introduced the measure to ensure decorum in the house.
