Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Parkland is in for a soaking as heavy rain moves through the region, with totals expected to reach between 0.75 inches and 1.5 inches by Friday morning.
The National Weather Service warns that this could lead to flash flooding, particularly in areas near streams and low-water crossings. Motorists are urged to use caution, as standing water on roadways can be deceptive. "Turn around, don’t drown" remains a critical safety reminder—never attempt to drive through flooded roads.
