Ground Broken for All Inclusive Playground

(Farmington, MO) Engler Park at Farmington will be getting a new all inclusive playground. Ground was broken Tuesday for the new equipment and Farmington Mayor, Larry Forsythe, says this will give all Parkland Families a chance to enjoy more time with their children.

The St. Francois County Rotary Club, and the Park Hills Lions Club, were instrumental in helping obtain a large portion of the funding for the playground. St. Francois County Rotarian, Chris Morrison, tells KFMO B104 News it all began as a grassroots effort.

The President of the Park Hills Lions Club, Kendall Hughes, explains they used the Lions Club International Foundation to access more funding.

The playground should be complete sometime in 2022.
