Friendly Wager Helps Shop with a Cop

(Bonne Terre, MO) What began as a friendly wager over the North County and Farmington High Schools long standing football rivalry is turning into a massive fund raiser for the St. Francois County Shop With a Cop program. The owner of Bryant Restoration of Bonne Terre, Reggie Aubuchon, says he decided to approach his competitor, Servpro of Farmington, with the idea of betting $500 on the game with the winner donating the money to the charity of their choice. Aubuchon says Servpro made a counter offer of raising the ante to $5000, and they suggested donating all the money to Shop with a Cop.

Aubuchon tells KFMO B104 News that after the news of the wager spread through the business community, other businesses are stepping up and they now have nearly $18,000 in committed funds going to Shop with a Cop no matter who wins the football game tonight between North County and Farmington. If you, or your business, would like to help with this Shop with a Cop effort, contact Bryant Restoration in Bonne Terre at 573-366-6351, or visit their offices in Bonne Terre.
